Strapping is used extensively at our practice to:

Applying strapping an arm
  • Improve posture eg. strapping the back and neck to prevent slouching.
  • Support an injured area eg. after ankle sprain.
  • Improve biomechanics eg. correct patella malignment.
  • Relieve shoulder impingement.
  • Facilitate muscle contraction eg. kinesio taping to facilitate contraction of the shoulder stabilising muscles.
  • Offload irritated tissue eg. tennis elbow.

Applying strapping to ankle
